  • Dorrance Field is located off South Road in front of Carmichael Arena. The entrance to Dorrance Field is behind Carmichael Arena near McCaskill Soccer Center.

pride to Chapel Hill!

Join the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association for a football tailgate as we travel to Chapel Hill to cheer on the Charlotte 49ers against the North Carolina Tar Heels at Kenan Memorial Stadium. Kick-off begins at 3:30 PM.

Chapel Hill, here we come!

Parking

The closest Tar Heel Express Shuttle pick-up location is by the Carolina Coffee Shop on Franklin Street, and will drop off on South Road behind Dorrance Field. 

Uber drops can be made on South Road in front of the Carmichael Arena.

Prices includes admission for one (1) guest to Alumni Tailgate. Parking must be purchased separately through Charlotte 49ers Athletics. Tailgate Only Pricing

ADULT (21+)$49$59
MINOR (13-20): $40$45
CHILD (6-12):  $30$30
Note: Children 5 and under receive free admission to Alumni Tailgate.  Children ages 2 and up are required to have a football ticket if they are attending the game.

GAME TICKETS – $40

  • The Charlotte 49ers have a ticket allotment until July 31. After this date, all ticket sales will be sold through UNC Athletics.
  • Please call the Charlotte 49ers Ticket Office at 704-687-4949 to secure your game tickets. 
  • Football game tickets are mobile only – no physical tickets are available.
  • Game tickets will be sent the week of the game via text message or email to the primary registrant. A valid cell phone number and email address are required to purchase.
  • Game tickets will be located in Sections 100-102 and 200-202.
