ways to get involved
All UNC Charlotte Hispanic and Latiné Alumni are members of the Latinx/a/o Alumni Network and there are a lot of different ways to get involved! All are welcome!
- Leadership Team Member: Alumni interested in serving on the Leadership Team for Latinx/a/o fill out the Volunteer Interest form and select Leadership team. Members of Leadership serve 3 year terms, participate on committees, assist with event planning and development, and volunteering at events.
- Committee Volunteer: Not ready to serve as a Leadership Team member? Not a problem! Join one of the Latinx/a/o committees and assist with event planning and development.
- Event Volunteer: If you are looking for a one-and-done easy volunteer opportunity, sign up to receive notifications on volunteer shifts at LAN events!
- Enthusiastic Supporter & Attendee: If you don’t have the time to volunteer but want to support the Latinx/a/o Alumni Network, you can share information on LAN events and LAN supported scholarships to your networks, and when you can – register and attend LAN events!
- Donate: The Latinx/a/o Alumni Network supports the Yvette M. Huet Sí Se Puede Scholarship, a needs-based scholarship that awards one student each year. With your financial support the Sí Se Puede scholarship can look toward awarding an additional student!
