The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association has partnered with Sports & Entertainment Travel (SET) to provide 49er alumni and fans an exciting weekend in New York City surrounding the Charlotte at Army Football Game at West Point on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Enjoy Manhattan hotel accommodations, game day ferry, welcome event, and more!

Friday Night Reception
Join fellow UNC Charlotte alumni and friends in the New York City area for an evening of connection and celebration! We’re hosting a special reception on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, at Mastro’s Steakhouse New York – and we’d love to see you there.
Enjoy an evening of reconnecting with fellow 49ers, and engaging with University administrators. Whether you’re new to the city or a longtime local, this is a great opportunity to strengthen your Niner network and hear exciting updates from campus. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
We hope to see you there in Niner spirit!

Q: What time does ferry depart on Saturday morning?
A: 8:45am from Pier 11/Wall Street. A shuttle will take us to the pier from the hotel. Exact times will be provided to you upon check-in.
Q: What time will we arrive at Michie Stadium?
A: Around 11:00am, but possibly earlier.
Q: How do we get from Ferry to Stadium?
A: A shuttle bus will take us there. The West Point campus is very hilly, and the dock is downhill from Michie Stadium.
Q: Can we explore campus?
A: Yes, please note that it is an extremely hilly campus
Q: What time does the ferry leave after the game?
A: There is only one return ferry that departs 45 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
Q: What’s will the weather be like?
A: Use this link to see the extended forecast. Please note that the weather could be chilly this time of year, so please plan to pack a jacket, gloves, and hat to stay warm. The ferry does have an indoor section for seating.
Q: What is a “Land-Only” package?
A: A land-only package includes all the items listed as “tour package features” EXCEPT for air transportation, airport/hotel transfers, and baggage handling.
