legacy stole at commencement
Are you a graduating Legacy student? Be on the lookout for information about the Legacy Draping Ceremony, held each semester before Commencement! At this special event, each graduating Legacy student will receive a commemorative Legacy stole to wear when they walk across the stage.
what is the legacy alumni network?
The Legacy Alumni Network exists to recognize families for making a 49er education part of their family tradition. Legacy families have passed on the 49er tradition to their children and we want to help celebrate this special relationship. The Legacy program helps these very important members of the Niner Nation family stay in touch with the University and with other legacies through special programs, events, activities and networking opportunities, and rewards families for their continued generational support of UNC Charlotte. This program is just one more way that we’re strengthening the bond between the University, our alumni and our students.
49er legacy scholarship
The 49er Legacy Scholarship will help make it possible for students to continue making a 49er education an important part of their family tradition. Any student who has at least one parent, step-parent, grandparent, or sibling who is an alumni of UNC Charlotte (undergraduate or graduate program) is considered to be a Legacy and will be eligible to apply to receive this scholarship.
