The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association offers more than 80 alumni events each year, both on campus and in your own backyard.

These activities range from professional development and networking opportunities, to presentations by faculty and industry experts, to fun socials and volunteer activities. Participating is a great way for you to stay connected to fellow Niners, your college and the institution.

Below is a list of our confirmed upcoming events. This list is updated frequently so be sure to check back often. We hope you will join us for an upcoming event soon!

July 29 – Niner Nights at Clutch Kitchen

Join us at alumni-owned Clutch Kitchen and Pour House for an exclusive pre-match meet-and-greet with Director of Athletics Kevin White, Men’s Basketball Head Coach Wes Miller and Football Head Coach Tim Albin.

The evening will begin with a brief panel discussion highlighting the vision and future of Charlotte Athletics, followed by a casual meet-and-greet with our coaches and Athletic Director. You’ll have the opportunity to connect, ask questions, and enjoy an evening with fellow Charlotte supporters while learning more about the exciting momentum surrounding the 49ers.

August 26 – Back To School Bash
2026 FAN Members

Kick off the semester at the Back to School Bash! Join us at the Harris Alumni Center for free food, a live DJ, exciting prizes, and plenty of fun activities. Meet fellow students, connect with alumni, grow your network, and learn how to get involved with the Future Alumni Network. Start the year with great vibes, new connections, and a chance to win big!

Charlotte vs App State

Join us for 49ers on the Road: App State as we cheer on the 49ers when they take on the Appalachian State Mountaineers! Gather with fellow Niner fans at the Rotunda in Central Dining Hall for an exciting pre-game tailgate filled with school spirit, camaraderie, and 49er pride.

Join the Black Alumni History Makers at the Old School Day Party for music, food, and fellowship and reconnect with the University and classmates from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. All are welcome to attend.

Join the Black Alumni Chapter for the Green & Gold ThrowBAC, featuring music from DJ Shogun & DJ Envy! Every ticket purchase helps raise crucial funds for the Green and Gold Trailblazers Scholarship. All are welcome to attend.

Bring the Black Alumni Chapter Homecoming Green & Gold Reunion to a close at the farewell Soulful Sunday Brunch. Enjoy a special performance by alumni of the Children of the Sun gospel choir. All are welcome to attend.
