Volunteers will sort, inspect and/or pack non-perishable food items for distribution to individuals and families in need through our network of emergency food pantries around Mecklenburg County.

Senior Send-Off

The GOLD Alumni Network and the University Career Center invite graduating students to join us for Senior Send-Off on Monday, April 28 from 5-8 p.m. at Armored Cow Brewing! Come celebrate becoming official members of the Alumni Association with free food, drinks, networking, games and door prizes.

Official 49er Ring Ceremony

Your class ring is a lasting symbol of your academic accomplishments and time spent on campus. In celebration of this UNC Charlotte tradition, join us for the Official 49er Ring Ceremony on Thursday, May 8 in front of Norm’s statue (49er Miner) located near the College of Health and Human Services building.

All participants will receive their purchased rings and will have the opportunity to join in the tradition of dipping it in Norm’s miner pan while being photographed.

Forever a Niner – Celebrate Your Journey

The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association invites all Spring 2025 graduates and up to four guests to participate in a new commencement tradition: Forever a Niner, which connects and brings all graduates and their chosen families together to celebrate commencement and their many years of hard work.

Alumni communities, including the Black Alumni Chapter, Legacy Alumni Network, GOLD Alumni Network, Latinx/a/o Alumni Network, LGBTQIA+ Alumni Network and Niner Varsity Club, will be at Forever a Niner to help celebrate our graduates. All are welcome!

49th Reunion – Class of 1976

The Office of Alumni Engagement invites you to travel back to where it all began for a celebration of your 49th Reunion!

Members of the Class of 1976 and a guest are invited to participate in a day-long reunion celebration. Festivities will include Spring Commencement Ceremony, 49th Reunion Luncheon, a campus bus tour and closing reception.

Join us to reconnect with classmates, share stories and explore the advancements UNC Charlotte has made over the last 49 years.
