The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association offers more than 80 alumni events each year, both on campus and in your own backyard.

These activities range from professional development and networking opportunities, to presentations by faculty and industry experts, to fun socials and volunteer activities. Participating is a great way for you to stay connected to fellow Niners, your college and the institution.

Below is a list of our confirmed upcoming events. This list is updated frequently so be sure to check back often. We hope you will join us for an upcoming event soon!

Sunday, March 8 – NYC FANdemonium

Join fellow alumni, friends and fans at Legends NYC with a FANdemonium Watch Party as we cheer on the Charlotte 49ers Men’s Basketball team versus South Florida. This event is part of the Niners Take Over New York event series.

Monday, March 9 – Partisan Song: Stories and Music of Holocaust Resistance

Join us at the Center for Jewish History for an evening of storytelling and music. UNC Charlotte Professor of Musicology James A. Grymes will present readings from his latest book, Partisan Song: A Holocaust Story of Resilience, Resistance, and Revenge, interspersed with music by University Chorale student performers.

Tuesday, March 17 – Let Me Play Luncheon

The Judy W. Rose Let Me Play Luncheon is an annual networking and fundraising event dedicated to advancing the success of Charlotte 49ers women student-athletes. This luncheon unites community and business leaders to generate crucial financial support, elevate awareness and provide a meaningful opportunity to engage directly with the women who represent our University in athletics.

Saturday, March 28 – Nouveau Now

The UNC Charlotte departments of dance and music present an enchanting production created specifically for the Carolina Theatre. Celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Martha Graham Dance Company, the program will feature Adorations, Reimagined, a beautiful Graham work reconstructed by dance professor Kim Jones. Delia Neil’s painterly Ode to Alphonse Mucha will immerse dancers and the audience in lush Art Nouveau, with music by Debussy, Ravel and Satie. Tamara Williams’ jazz choreography will embody the fervor of Duke Ellington’s Praise God and Dance played live by the UNC Charlotte jazz ensemble with soprano Sequina DuBose. Ashley L. Tate will bring Nouveau Now to a powerful close with a fusion of contemporary, jazz and hip hop movement set to an electro-soul and alternative rock soundtrack.

March 31 – April 2 – Niner Nation Gives

Join us for the 11th annual Niner Nation Gives starting on March 31. For 49 hours, Niners everywhere can help build Charlotte’s future. Charlotte has never built anything alone. It takes all of us—thousands of Niners laying foundations, raising walls, and opening doors. When you give, you’re not just donating. You’re building with the entire Niner community, past and future, for the Love of Charlotte.

April 14 – Niner Night at Truist Field

Join fellow 49er alumni and friends at this exclusive pre-game picnic as the Charlotte 49ers take on the Clemson Tigers at Truist Field!
