Events

The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association offers more than 80 alumni events each year, both on campus and in your own backyard.

These activities range from professional development and networking opportunities, to presentations by faculty and industry experts, to fun socials and volunteer activities. Participating is a great way for you to stay connected to fellow Niners, your college and the institution.

May 7 – Official 49er Ring Ceremony

Popp Martin Student Union Theater

Your class ring is a lasting symbol of your academic accomplishments and time spent on campus. In celebration of this UNC Charlotte tradition, join us for the Official 49er Ring Ceremony on Thursday, May 7 in the Student Union Theater.

All participants will receive their purchased rings and will have the opportunity to join in the tradition of dipping it in Norm’s miner pan while being photographed.

Graduating students and up to four (4) guests are invited to join the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association for a special commencement tradition: Forever a Niner. This exciting drop-in event brings all graduates and their chosen families together to celebrate commencement and their many years of hard work.
